Event Days are one day of the week in a Strongman Program commited to training with the odd objects of the sport. A lot of gyms don’t have the Strongman Specific Equipment necessary so athletes may have to travel to get access to the equipment they need. More and more strongman gyms are popping up every day, but when the sport was young, athletes would have to travel around to get exposure to different implements and prepare for competitions.

Odin’s Boys uses an Event Day in the template to ensure that athletes wanting to train for Strongman have the ability arrange to get the necessary equipment. It also offers the strongman athletes at ATR an opportunity to meet up and train together, feeding off the energy in the room to train better than they otherwise would.

Odin’s Hazing is an E-book containing 12 of these Event Days for you to try for yourself. Each day includes a protocol for a press, a carry, a load, and an odd event in the sport. You can follow them to the letter or mix and match protocols to find something that works for you.

A lot of the protocols in the E-book are inspired by real events that have happened in competitions across the country. If this is the case, a link will be posted to the compeition in Iron Podium so that you can compare the weights that you’re hitting to those you might see in a competition.
